Balwyn North – Timber Deck Restoration & Re-stain

Restoration of a large poolside timber deck in Balwyn North. The deck had begun to sink and sit below the pool coping, so the affected section was lifted and the substructure re-levelled and re-secured before any refinishing began.

The entire deck was then sanded right back to raw timber to strip away the weathered, sun-bleached surface, with the pool coping and surrounding areas protected throughout.

A premium timber stain was applied to bring back a deep, even colour and protect the boards against pool splash and the elements — leaving a smooth, rich finish that sits flush with the coping and ties the whole poolside together.
