Hawthorn – Rooftop Deck Rebuild

This Hawthorn rooftop terrace had an aged merbau timber deck that had weathered to grey and reached the end of its life.

MINC stripped it back to the structure, reinforced the existing timber frame with treated structural timber, and applied decking tape along the top of the joists to prevent water build-up. New low-maintenance composite decking was then laid in a warm woodgrain — a durable finish that holds its colour with no oiling or sanding required.
